Candidate qualifications

• Fresh graduate student in first level university, supply chain/managem

ent/English related major

• Excellent English skills in speaking, listening and writing

• Excellent affinity for numbers and data analysis 

• Able to understand complex issues quickly

• Able to communicate well with people in all regions inclusive of USA, 

Europe and Asia. These people are both internal HP folks and external supplier

• Good computer skills MS office applications (Excel), SAP knowledge is 

plus

• Previous experience in regional jobs is preferred

 

Job description

• Execute planning actions to support service supply chain products thro

ughout their lifecycle execute the relevant purchase plan with the relevant su

ppliers

• Owns the Parts Availability and Inventory level performance KPI

• Create robust forward looking materials plan which encompasses histori

cal demand, new product demand signal and exceptional demand signal for purcha

se execution

• Manage the fine balance between new parts and repaired parts supply pi

cture in the forecast plan to minimize materials cost and inventory

• Manage parts rolls and quality issues with cross functional team to mi

nimize impact to parts availability and inventory level

• Ensure all Purchase Orders are executed at timely manner with appropri

ate acknowledgement responses from suppliers

• Execute shipment pull-in and push-out for demand surge and demand decl

ine situation

• Resolve invoice and payment issues with suppliers in shortest possible

time

• Monitor all shortage parts with extreme focus with quick actions to en

sure fast recovery

• Drive suppliers to their required turnaround time performance level
